About the Barns

Korea's largest barns

NatureFarm has five barns plus one sick-cow barn. Cows are grouped by lactation stage, breeding stage, breed, and health condition, and assigned to each barn accordingly.

Each barn houses 200 cows — 100 on each side of the feed lane — and provides 19.8㎡ per cow, 1.2 times the legal minimum of 16.5㎡ per Holstein milking cow, giving the cows a comfortable environment.

Each barn is one of Korea's largest, with a 15 m roof height, 55 m width, and 132 m length. The tall, wide open structure ensures smooth natural ventilation and lighting, reducing summer heat stress and keeping cows comfortable year-round.

About the Parlor

Rotary milking system

NatureFarm has installed a BouMatic rotary parlor, building a milking system optimized for a large-scale dairy complex. The parlor can milk 60 cows at once; one full rotation takes about 8 minutes, and up to 350 cows can be milked per hour, achieving high productivity and efficiency.

Milked raw milk is sorted by characteristics into three chillers — 34 tons, 7 tons, and 5 tons — and rapidly cooled and stored at the right temperature, keeping it fresh and producing top-quality raw milk.

Through advanced milking technology, thorough hygiene management, and eco-friendly operation, NatureFarm achieves high-quality raw milk production and sustainable dairying.

About the Center

The heart of smart dairying: the integrated control center

All data collected in real time from the barns, milking parlor, and environmental control systems is connected to the integrated control center. Individual milk yield, activity, rumination, and intake — as well as barn temperature, humidity, and ventilation — are all managed together on a single platform.

Real-time analysis detects anomalies early and suggests management priorities, while accumulated big data supports more accurate, scientific decisions.

The integrated control center is the core control tower driving NatureFarm's stable operation and productivity gains.
